So I was totally planning on posting a recipe tonight. I rushed out of work at 6:30, quickly stopped off at the grocery store to pick up beets, goat cheese, arugula, and a ciabatta roll, and raced up the stairs of my home to get started. The beets were marinating in their balsamic glaze, the broiler was heating up to toast the roll, and the knife was cutting into my thumb knuckle... wahhhhh?!?!?!
That's right, Nick's fancy schmancy Cutco did a number on my thumb knuckle tonight as I was cutting the roll, which subsequently sent me to the nearest emergency clinic for FOUR STITCHES!
So instead of a delicious post about a scrumptious beet, goat cheese, and arugula salad, I only have this post about a simple weekend outfit for you.
Yipes - and it sounded so good up until then! You poor thing, I think we've all done it at least once. Hope your thumb feels better!
